I'm slowly finding more things about the most recent GTA Trailer. Rather than editing my previous post, I've decided to start a new post. So consider this as a part 2 of my impressions and I will also take this opportunity to review other people's opinions when I find them.
Firstly, there is a very good video analysis online which can be found here. In the video, the commentators talk about a tattoo which can be seen in this screenshot (on the character's left pec).
They say they think it means something like, and I quote, "Boy, teenager, child, something like that". However, they are completely wrong. This is suprising as they managed to translate a long line of Chinese text in their trailer 2 video analysis. The tattoo just simply means "I, myself or me".
I found that the Statue of Liberty (known as the Statue of Happiness in the game) in trailer 3 to be a little blocky as did the 1up video reviewers. But then again, it's not that bad considering you probably won't see it up close that often. Anyway, the distance shot from trailer 1 looks pretty sweet enough. Of course, I am assuming they haven't altered it that much between the two trailers. The trailer 1 statue does look a little greener though! Anyway, take a look yourself and let me know what you think.
Wow, the skyline of New York never ceases to amaze me. Real or not.
Now that I have seen the trailer several times, my opinions of the facial animations compared to my previous post have changed somewhat. The facial animations/detail aren't that bad as I thought. They are better than most games. My eyes are starting to open up to reality as the Mass Effect effect (no pun intended) wears off. Give me a few more weeks and I'll probably think the facial animations are the best things about this game! One thing is for sure though, I can't wait for this game to come out.
Finally, there is a rather in-depth written analysis found here.
I'll carry on posting new and useful links here when and if I find them.

I watched the trailer and I have to admit that I'm a bit worried. The framerate doesn't look so good... That being said, at least the game looks interesting. I do hope that they fix the targetting system, and that none of the missions are as infuriating as they were in GTA3.
I just rewatched the trailer and couldn't notice any framerate issues. There are a few people who think that they have toned down some of the lighting effects since trailer 1 and 2 though. I'll be honest, what they're building is certainly going to push both the PS3 and the 360 to their limits. I can't imagine this game running anything higher than 30 fps. I am hoping that the game won't slip below 30 fps too much. As an action game, this could be very annoying. If it has any framerate issues like Mass Effect, then we're going to have some serious issues.
From what I've heard, targeting has been revamped. Judging from the fight scenes too, a lot more flexibility will come in rather than spamming one button to punch in GTA3. I have confidence in Rockstar to give us a very good game next year. Taking the decision to delay it missing the holiday season shows to me that they want this game to be the highest quality.
